Megan. My life. My family.

“Memory is a way of holding onto the things you love, the things you are, the things you never want to lose.”

~From the television show The Wonder Years

My love of photography grew from a passion to capture the lives of my three children. I got my first nice camera after my second daughter was born. It was a 35mm Canon Rebel. I was smitten with it and remember the day I set up a little photo shoot with my girls like it was yesterday. I put up some white sheets and had my older daughter hold my youngest who was a baby. I took a lot of pictures with black and white film and promptly took them to the local pharmacy to have them developed. Several days later, I picked up the pictures from the store and was shocked to see how well they had actually turned out. (gone are the film days!) From then on, I was hooked. There was something inside of me that yearned to learn more. But I never really thought that my dream would come true. But it did, and I feel so blessed.

I don’t really like to call what I do my “job”. It is my passion. “Job” is just too harsh of a word to describe how I feel when I am photographing a newborn or a happy family. It is beautiful and I feel honored to be capturing such special memories for people that they will look back on and cherish.

Who am I may you ask?

I am the mother to three beautiful little girls who light up my life and push my creativity to the next level.

I am a daughter, sister, Christian, friend, artist and the list goes on…
